The Executive Committee of the State Bar’s Workers’ Compensation Section has established an annual Recognition Awards program to recognize outstanding attorneys and judges who have made significant recent or lifetime contributions to the workers’ compensation community.
The Recognition Awards program was established in 2005, and was the brainchild of Steve Jimenez, a partner with Adelson, Testan, Brundo & Jimenez. The Recognition Awards program has been met with much enthusiasm and success and has continued to grow. In 2008, the Recognition Awards program was renamed in honor of Steve Jimenez who died suddenly in December, 2007.
It is now time to accept nominations for the 2012 Recognition Awards. Please submit all nominations by March 1, 2012. Please send your nomination form to Ms. Tricia Horan, Sections Manager, as follows:

The 2012 Award Recipients will be notified in late Spring, and will be invited to receive their awards at a special reception to be held in Monterey at the Annual Meeting. The Workers’ Compensation Section Executive Committee thanks all of you who have submitted applications since 2005 with such wonderful nominees.
